Your cat typed that. We caught it.
Cat Detected is a Chrome extension that spots a cat walking across your keyboard and stops the gibberish before it reaches your boss, your team or your clients.

How it works
Cats type differently from people. Cat Detected watches for the patterns paws make, right in your browser.
Paw presses
Three or more neighboring keys pressed at once, the way a paw lands.
Repeat floods
The same key repeated over and over, like a cat sitting on the spacebar.
Nonsense bursts
Fast strings of letters that no human would type on purpose.
Long holds
A key held down far longer than normal typing.
Typing is paused. Who did this?

FAQ
Where does it work?
Cat Detected works in your browser. It runs in Google Chrome on the websites you visit, including web Gmail and web Slack. The desktop Slack, Teams and Zoom apps are not covered, because they run outside the browser.
Will it catch every paw?
No. It won't catch every paw. Cats are creative, and a single careful step can look just like a person typing. You can raise or lower the sensitivity to suit your cat.
Does it read or send my keystrokes?
Your keystrokes never leave your device. Typing is checked right in the page and is never sent to any server. Only your settings and simple counts are saved, on your own computer. See the privacy policy.
Is Pro a subscription?
No. Pro is a one-time US$4.99 purchase. See the terms and refund policy.
What if it pops up while I'm the one typing?
Click "That was me" and carry on. If it happens often, set sensitivity to Low or turn it off on that site.
